El módulo de Comunidad ha tenido muchos cambios hechos por los programadores del mismo. Adjunto se encuentran las cosas nuevas por sección para la versión 1.6 de este módulo. Los arreglos al sistema se omitieron, pero hubo bastantes. Espero lo disfruten y utilizen estas nuevas herramientas. Los cambios son:
Groups - Allow group owner or admin to remove existing associated activities that is tied to that group.
- Load wall content dynamically so we can apply some privacy restrictions.
- Group mini header is added to the groups
- Add 'private' info in the group page to inform owner that group is private.
- Add 'invite friend' link in group members list
- Option to allow user to skip facebook and status import
- Allow deletion of group with no member by the group owner
- Group category should be ordered alphabetically
- RSS feed for group discussion and announcement
- Add new discussion link within discussion listing
- Display author of the photo in a group photo album
- Latest group should still display groups if it uses the default avatar
- Add activity contents for group discussion replies
- Add activity contents for group discussion creation
- Add activity contents for group wall post
- Add activity contents when changing group avatar
- Allow group admins to approve user
Media
- Allow visitor to download full-size image directly
- Admin should also be able to edit a photo information
- Added RSS feed support for photos
- Video image thumbnail when bookmarking to social bookmarking sites
- Cron job will update old videos that do not have file size information
- Store original video size on first upload
- Restyle video view
- After 'start upload' button is clicked, unused links and button should be disabled
- Add a link to the album in the photo upload page
- Allow admin to fetch any missing video thumbnails manually
- Hit count on video view should be user and time sensitive
- Add 'edit album' link in album view
- Configurable number of photo and videos to be displayed in the group
- Site admin can now edit anyone's photo captions
Profile
- Allow user to see the message added when send friend request
- Show 12 friends in profile page to fill the friend list box nicely
- Hit count on profile are now user and time sensitive using session variables.
- Apply word-filter to profile page title
- Added new custom field type, single multi select field
- Make date format for profile configurable
- Custom fields with the type select, singleselect, radio and country is now searchable
Messaging
- Add alphabetical sorting when listing people
- Add proper heading to indicate who the message is being sent to
Backend
- Added new 'remote storage' configuration
- Allow admin to assign users into specific group
- Site administrator can now enable or disable 'html' emails.
- Allow admin to configure profile picture max upload size
- Allow admin to sort users
- Allow admin to filter users by user type
API
- Added onAjaxCall trigger
- Added some predefined module position within the template
- Added onBeforeControllerCreate trigger
- Added onAfterPrivacyChanged trigger
- Added new onAfterAppsLoad trigger
- RenderModules function to load module on the template
- Added new onAfterProfileUpdate event trigger
Misc
- Share and report should be on the same line
- Optimize default fields
- Use new jQuery-based tooltip
- Use single image sprite for bookmark icons to reduce redundant http requests

- Latest groups on frontpage is now configurable
- Facebook buttons are now rendered with xhtml codes
- Activity stream command should refer to the publish status of user point
- Advance search now is capable to select multiple value during the search.
- Update 'access' column in activity stream after profile privacy is saved
- After registration, we should link it to jomsocial frontpage instead of the site frontpage
- Additional theme and language option for recaptcha
